If you’re combing through romantic vacation ideas, don’t cross Michigan off your list until you take a closer look. Two romantic destinations worth a look for a potential Michigan honeymoon are Torch Lake and Hell. Yes, really. Ok, we chose Torch Lake in part because of its name, but also because its one of the most beautiful lakes in the world – nearly as blue as any Caribbean water! The name Torch Lake comes from Ojibwa who used the lake by night for fishing (by torchlight!). The waters here cover 29 square miles making it a great spot to swim, boat, or fish. Here you’re only half an hour away from Traverse City if you want a little more activity, which offers casinos, water parks, nearby wineries and golfing.
If you are in Detroit than you should make reservations at The Whitney. This is Detroit’s grandest, most elegant restaurant is perfect for a snowy night in the depth of winter, a sizzling evening in the height of summer or a crystal clear midday Sunday. Housed in a 115 year old, 52-room mansion with delicate, ornate wood carving, Tiffany stained glass windows worthy of a cathedral, and topped by Detroit’s coolest lounge, the third floor Ghost Bar, The Whitney offers meals to savor and visits to remember on your Michigan romantic getaways or Michigan Honeymoons.

There are many exciting spring break destinations in which to choose to take your spring break holiday. Whether you are a child, teenager, college student, or adult, you always look forward to getting a week off and spending a fun-filled holiday with your family or friends. Here are some great choices for you to spend your next destinations holiday:
1. The Bahamas: These islands, which are just off the coast of Florida, have great activities for people of all ages. There are white sandy beaches, clear, crystal blue waters, and intriguing underwater caves to explore. There are many water activities, including snorkeling, scuba diving, and surfing. Both kids and adults love to go horseback riding on the beach. The weather is excellent year-round. But it is important to be prepared to travel to these islands. If you arrive by the air, a passport is required, and if you go by boat, you can either have a passport or a birth certificate and identification.
2. Park City, Utah: This is an excellent choice to escape the worries of school. Skiing is the main source of entertainment in this city, but there are also many other enjoyable events. You can snowboard, ride snowmobiles, or just take the family shopping. Park City caters to people during spring break, and they give great deals on lodging and entertainment.
3. Orlando, Florida: This popular city has everything you want when taking a destinations holiday. You can visit Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, or the Islands of Adventure. Orlando also has many luxurious hotels in which you can sit back and be pampered.
4. South Padre Island, Texas: Many college students flock to this south Texas beach, but kids and adults can also enjoy spending their spring break here. You can see Texas without the ranches and cowboys. You can windsurf on the Gulf of Mexico or visit the Schlitterbahn water park. South Padre has it all for a pleasurable vacation.
